All orders will usually be shipped with in 48 hours of orders/payments having been received.  If the item ordered is out of stock when we receive your order, we will contact you.  If you wish the item can be placed on back order, if it is still available from the distributor. 

All parcels are sent by Australia Post and International orders will be sent by air unless otherwise requested and arranged. ALL PARCELS WILL BE SENT WITH TRACKING.   Registered Post please contact us by email for this additional service.


Note: sizes of products when placing an order, goes by SIZE not weight.

  • Fabric over 3 metres up to 7 metres will need to be put in a MEDIUM post bag
  • Fabric over 1 metre and up to 3 metres will be placed in a SMALL post bag
  • Fabric up to 1 metre will fit in a LARGE ENVELOPE
  • Bags of Buttons in a SMALL post bag
  • Fabric over 7 metres and up to 10 metres will fit into a LARGE post bag

Lost Parcels

Mallee Quilts cannot be held responsible for parcels lost, damaged, or delayed by the post.  Please ensure that your residential or shipping address is correct on your account details and order form.  Once your parcel is lodged with Australia Post, it is then the responsibility of Australia Post to deliver the parcel to the addressee.  Insurance can be arranged if you have any concerns.

Time of Delivery

The time of delivery varies.

As our shop is in the South Australian country, parcel delivery is daily in and out of Karoonda, and will then be transported to major city centres, and then out to recipient’s  address.  This could take up to a week.

Express delivery can be arranged but owing to distance we cannot ensure a next day service.

If your estimation of the postage is out we will adjust it AND we will notify you!
